PAWS invites individuals and local businesses to participate in our Sponsor a Pet program, an opportunity to make a difference in the community and in the lives of our adoptable pets in the Concho Valley.
For only $25 per month, pet sponsorship is an excellent way to impact the life of a dog or cat without the responsibility of committing to a lifetime pet. During the Sponsor a Pet program, we encourage you create awareness of your participation in the program by blogging about your pet, prominently displaying a picture and information about the pet at your place of business, or using other social media outlets, such as Facebook and Twitter.

Can I pick out the pet I want to sponsor?
Yes - just go to our list of available pets and select your pet. We can also help choose one for you.
How much does the program cost?
The cost to sponsor a pet is $25 per month. We request that you commit to 4 month sponsorship. If your pet is adopted before then, your sponsorship commitment for that pet ends.
How will my name or business name be used in conjunction with the program?
Unless you request not to be named, PAWS will list “this pet is sponsored by John and Jane Smith” or “this pet is sponsored by “AAA business” on their adoption card, in-house video advertising, Petfinder listing, as well as any social media announcements. If your sponsored pet is featured in print or on TV the same name mention will occur.
Will I receive a picture of my sponsored pet?
Yes - PAWS will email you a packet with the pet's photo and background so you can post it in your place of business, website, or other social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
Can I meet my sponsored pet?
We cannot guarantee a meet and greet but PAWS will make every effort for you to meet your pet in person.
Can I sponsor more than one pet at a time?
Yes! - there are many pets awaiting a champion who will sponsor them and their care.
What happens after the pet is adopted?
PAWS will send you a thank you package and a receipt for your tax deductible donation. We hope that you will consider sponsoring another pet in the program.
